Materials
Custom cards use a standard paper thickness of 300-400gsm. These materials contain at least 50% post-consumer content (recycled materials).
White cardstock
Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS) paper that yields high quality print.
All cards are printed with soy-based ink, which is eco-friendly and produces much brighter and vibrant colors.
CMYK
CMYK is the most popular and cost effective color system used in print.
Pantone
For accurate brand colors to be printed and is more expensive than CMYK.
Coating
Coating is added to your printed designs to protect it from scratches and scuffs.
Varnish
An eco-friendly water-based coating but doesn't protect as well as lamination.
Lamination
A plastic coated layer that protects your designs from cracks and tears, but less eco-friendly.
Finishes
Top off your cards with a finish option that completes their look.
Glossy
Shiny and reflective, the most popular option for playing cards as they're easy to shuffle.
Matte
Smooth and non-reflective, overall softer look.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom cards?
500 units per set of cards, minimum 1 card per set.
Can the cards be shrink wrapped?
Yes, each set of cards can either be shrink wrapped or bundled together by paper bands. The cards can also be packed in an accompanying box (if available), which can also be shrink wrapped (if required). Get in touch for a custom quote.
Do these custom cards come with a rounded corner?
The cards can come with rounded corners. Please let us know in advance if this is required.
What are your lead times?
Production typically takes 12-16 days, and 16-21 days for larger volume orders. Shipping times will depend on the shipping channel you choose. Read more about the full process here.
How long does shipping take?
Air freight options range from 7-21 days, while ocean freight options range from 26-71 days. If you need some units expedited earlier, consider splitting your shipment between air and ocean!

What format should I provide my artwork to you in?
Please send us your artwork in a dieline file (PDF or AI format) that can be edited in Adobe Illustrator. Please keep the dieline as a separate layer in your AI file, and be sure to follow all of these dieline design tips to ensure your artwork file is production-ready.
