Simplified Sample

Since simplified samples are made with sampling machines and printed with digital printers, they can have a couple of limitations:

1. They can only be printed using CMYK, therefore Pantone or white ink cannot be used. If you want to test Pantone or white ink, opt for a Press Proof or Pre-production Sample instead.
2. Because these are printed with digital printers, colors will not be accurate to final production and they will be duller (pictured on the left). If you would like an accurate color representation, consider getting a Print Proof as well.
3. There may be creases and tears, particularly along fold lines (pictured on the right), and can be harder to fold.
4. Due to more streamlined drying processes, flute lines may be more visible.

Generally, Simplified Samples take 6-8 days to complete and 7-10 days to ship.

Simplified Samples are available for all packaging types except rigid boxes.

*Note: Simplified Samples of custom box inserts are available if you provide us with a dieline of the insert. If you don't have a dieline for your insert, we can help you design the insert as part of our structural design service.

Simplified Samples can be fully reimbursed upon ordering 500 units and up.

If you have multiple samples per item that are eligible for reimbursement, you'll receive a reimbursement on the most expensive sample.

Note: sticker samples are not eligible for reimbursement.

Before placing an order for a Simplified Sample, please double check the specifications and details of your sample. Changes in scope and artwork after the sample has been created will come with additional costs.
