How can I seal a custom pouch?

Custom pouches, often used for packaging food or other products that require a protective air seal, need to be sealed using heat. Whether you use a stand-up pouch or flat pouch that comes with a resealable zipper, they require a designated machine to seal using heat such as an impulse sealer or band sealer so that your products are not tampered with.

Band sealers are often used for large-scale productions. Similar to impulse sealers, they seal the stand-up pouches using heat but in a continuous manner. A heated band seals the pouch as the pouch is fed through the machine, often allowing for more efficient and consistent sealing.
