Packaging Materials & Finishes

What are your standard materials and finishes?

We've done the hard work so that you don't have to think about what type of material your packaging needs. The standard materials for packaging - such as mailer boxes and folding carton boxes - are all high quality, durable, and optimal for its use.

Mailer Boxes

Standard substrate:

  • CCNB paper (clay coated news back) if the base material is white
  • Kraft paper if the base material is kraft

Standard corrugation:

  • E-flute corrugation (single wall)
  • B-flute corrugation (single wall)

Standard finishes:

  • Matte varnish
  • Glossy varnish

Folding Carton Boxes

Folding carton boxes are made with lightweight and durable materials.

Standard materials:

  • White: 300-400gsm Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS) paper
  • Kraft: 300-400gsm kraft paper

Standard finishes:

  • Matte varnish
  • Glossy varnish

Rigid Boxes

To create rigid boxes, 2 parts are required. The chipboard, which is the thick board that makes a rigid box sturdy, and the substrate that wraps around the paperboard, which is where the artwork is printed.

Small rigid boxes

  • Chipboard: 600-800gsm
  • Substrate: 128gsm SBS or kraft paper

Large rigid boxes

  • Paperboard: 1000-2000gsm
  • Paper: 128-250gsm SBS or kraft paper

Standard finishes

  • Matte lamination
  • Glossy lamination
